more awesome t-shirts

10am-ish, monday, south station, 'the kids these days ... '

- the tee itself was a standard fare black flag shirt with the classic band logo, but it was worn by a three year-old boy. he was accompanied by a woman (mom? auntie?) who appeared to be the type that would've decked him out in a mickey mouse tee and pants bought at kids 'r us.

4:30pm-ish, sunday, inbound c-line train from coolidge corner, 'smoking.'

- woman wearing an all black t-shirt that bore a solitary graphic on the front, the traditional 'no smoking' sign with one noticable difference: there was no line going through the smoking cigarette. smoke 'em if you got 'em.

11:45am-ish, saturday, downtown crossing area, 'simple truth'

- older fellow wearing an all aqua-blue t-shirt with a single green word on the front: 'stress'. i did a triple-take, but couldn't find anything else on the shirt save for that word, rendered in a blurry manner that made it appear to shake and with cracks (stress fractures?) running through the middle of it. if those breaks weren't there by design, then i guess we have a case of life actually enhancing the art it imitates.

at any rate, how much you want to bet that old guy's awesome?
