this headline just looks kinda funny to me. it would make more sense if they went with "r+b legend" in place of 'fats domino' as a way of introducing the story. i mean, not too undermine his contribution to music, but it's not like we're talking about someone of truly iconic stature that would be recognizable to readership demographics across the board, like james brown or willie nelson. he may rightfully be called a rhythm and blues legend, but fats domino is nonetheless relatively obscure within the grander scheme of pop culture, if only because traditional r+b itself has become obscure in that grand scheme.
