annihilating cheap and lame contingencies

by laying these out ahead of time, i hope to purge from possibility that which i negate. if it's in the cards that the yankees are to beat the sox tonight, let the victory pass handily and without aberrant, dumb-luck bullshit. if it's in the cards that the yankees take this, they have to BEAT our sox.

-no blown calls on the parts of the umpires tonight in favor of the yanks for fear of reprisal at the hands of cretinous, classless yankees fans
-no outlandish injuries to red sox players via collision with baseball, other players or objects thrown by cretinous, classless yankees fans (this goes during AND after the game, by the way)
-no bobbles on routine plays (red sox)
-no bobbles on a tough-but-they-almost-made-it play (red sox)
-no bobbles on ... damn it all, no bobbles, period (red sox)
-no leaving in sox pitchers who are obviously out of gas
-no more sissy karate-flailing from any members of the yankees

i wish i could cover every possibility. but maybe karma refined over many, many years will take care of the rest. and if there's such a thing as karma in the first place, i think it will.
