whimsy requires a fertile imagination and a big brain with which to contain it
don't worry. if enough people concede to this -- without thinking, even, because thinking really doesn't matter so much -- it'll be as good as honest truth, and you can embrace it as the essential raison d'etre of your aloof social character.
